Three Public Measures Up For Voters To Decide

Absentee ballots for next month’s special election in Black Hawk County will be available starting on Wednesday for in person and mail-in voting. Three public measures will be held March 7th, including the Hawkeye Community College 10-county merged area bond referendum; In Waterloo, voters will decide on who will fill the 4th ward seat left by former councilman Jerome Amos, who was elected to the Iowa legislature; and in Gilbertville, a general obligation bond referendum for a municipal emergency services building.
