Class 1A and 2A boys postseason basketball continued last night with District Finals.
In matchups involving area 2A schools;
Hudson defeated Union, 79-54.
And Aplington-Parkersburg took down Jesup, 74-58.
Hudson and A-P both advance to Substate Finals Saturday night. The Pirates face Roland-Story at Marshalltown, while the Falcons play Monticello at Dike-New Hartford.
In area 1A District Finals;
Dunkerton got past South Hamilton, 52-34.
Wapsie Valley overpowered Central City, 71-42.
And Gladbrook-Reinbeck ran by Keota, 77-57.
Here’s where area schools will play in Substate Finals on Saturday;
Dunkerton takes on Newman Catholic at Hampton-Dumont.
Wapsie Valley plays North Linn at Manchester.
And Gladbrook-Reinbeck goes up against Lynnville-Sully at Marshalltown.
