Berths into the State Tournament were up for grabs last night as Class 1A and 2A girls basketball Regional Finals took place.
In 2A games involving area schools;
At Manchester, two-time defending state champion Dike-New Hartford overpowered Bellevue, 67-28.
At Marshalltown, Eddyville-Blakesburg-Freemont held off Hudson, 71-65.
And at Oelwein, Aplington-Parkersburg defeated Dyersville-Beckman, 50-38.
In a 1A Regional Final involving an area school;
At Fort Dodge, Newell-Fonda ran past AGWSR, 76-39.
