$1 Million CAT Grant Awarded to Waterloo

The Enhance Iowa board recently awarded a Community Attraction and Tourism – or CAT—grant to the city of Waterloo for $1 million for enhancing and improving Byrnes and Gates Parks. With the CAT grant award, the city’s leisure services commission has a total $15.5 million for the project. The total estimated cost stands at $17.5 million.
