Last night in Metro high school baseball,
Cedar Falls split a doubleheader at Cedar Rapids Xavier. The Tigers won the first game 1-0 and lost the second game 4-3.
Waterloo West split a doubleheader at Iowa City West. Iowa City West won game one 10-1 and the Wahawks captured the night cap 5-4.
Waterloo East split a doubleheader with Fort Dodge. The Dodgers won the first game 11-1 while the Trojans took the second 7-4.
In softball,
Cedar Falls swept a doubleheader from Waterloo East, 13-3 and 15-0.
Waterloo West rolled past Charles City, 8-3.
