92 Veterans Ready for Cedar Valley Honor Flight Tuesday

Early Tuesday morning, another group of veterans will be off to Washington DC, for the 29th Cedar Valley Honor Flight.  Co-organizer Frank Magsamen said Monday afternoon that 92 northeast Iowa veterans, their guardians and medical personnel will be flying out to Washington DC, to see several memorials, including the World War II Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. 87 that will be attending are Vietnam Veterans, 5 are from the Korean Conflict.  They will return to Waterloo Tuesday night around 9:30 at the Waterloo Airport to a Hero’s Welcome and the public is invited to come out and thank these veterans for their service.
