The City of Waterloo is warning people of a potential scammer after receiving complaints about a man on a bicycle going door-to-door asking for donations for underprivileged youth. They say he is claiming to be collecting on behalf of the Mayor’s Office, which the city says is false. If you have any information about door-to-door scams, city officials say you should call the Waterloo Police Department at their non-emergency number 319-291-2515.
