Cedar Falls Police said on Sunday they have located the driver of a vehicle that struck a child on a bicycle on Saturday afternoon. Police were dispatched to the intersection of Hudson and Greenhill Roads on the report of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. While the juvenile was crossing Greenhill Road with his family, a vehicle was northbound on Hudson Road and turned east onto Greenhill Road. In doing so, the vehicle and the bicycle collided. The bicyclist was taken to an area hospital by MercyOne paramedics. After further investigation, the vehicle involved was located and the driver was identified. Police say this is an ongoing investigation and no names have been released.
