I realized that my home has a security system that is accessible on my phone, as well as my thermostat and my garage door. Now, my new washing machine is smart and can connect to wifi. There’s an app. As much as I love tech and apps and notifications that make life simpler, I’ve not turned on this feature. It’s kinda cool and all to have all of that information at my fingetips, but I still remain “old school”, and prefer to ignore my laundry at my old pace. Now, if the tech gets to the point of actually putting my wash in the dryer, then folding it all when finished, sign me up!
