FAKE EXCUSES TO MISS A DAY OF WORK _
• If it is all the same to you I won’t be coming in to work. The voices told me to knit a sweater for my Golden Retriever.
• When I got up this morning I took two Ex-Lax in addition to my Prozac. I can’t get off the john, but I feel good about it.
• I just found out that I was switched at birth. Legally, I shouldn’t come to work knowing my employee records may now contain false information.
• The dog ate my car keys. We’re going to hitchhike to the vet.
• I can’t come to work today because the EPA has determined that my house is completely surrounded by wetlands and I have to arrange for helicopter transportation.
WHEN TRAVELING, TAKE PHOTOS BEFORE YOU ARRIVE _ When you arrive at your vacation destination, you’ll be ready for Instagram glory with your smartphone. But some of the most important photos should be taken before you arrive. Travel experts say you should snap a pic of everything — from documents to travel friends — and back those photos to a cloud-based service that can retrieved from any computer. Snap photos of your car, your license plate, your parking space, your parking deck/section sign, the boarding pass, your passport, your luggage and its airline tags, the contents of your luggage, your kids, and, yes, even your spouse.

WHAT’S THE MOST EXPENSIVE THING YOUR CHILD HAS ACCIDENTALLY RUINED?
• When I was a kid, my mother lost her diamond wedding ring. She was devastated. A decade later, while cleaning things up for a garage sale, we found it jammed in the toilet of my Barbie house.
• I was washing my van one day three years ago and my two-year-old decided to help wash the other side… with rocks. Scratched right down to the primer.
• Watching Netflix as I was doing the dishes. Had to use the bathroom. My three-year-old daughter dragged a kitchen chair up to sink and decided to help do dishes while I’m on the toilet. Goodbye $1,200 laptop.
