The name of a woman who died as a result of a fiery SUV crash near Nora Springs early Wednesday has been released. According to the Iowa State Patrol crash report, 29-year old Samantha Grant of Waterloo died after her eastbound Kia Telluride drifted off of the roadway at US Hwy 18/Avenue of the Saints, and hit a bridge pillar. The vehicle then burst into flames. Grant was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash happened just after 12:30AM last Wednesday (September 4th) near mile marker 195.
