Waterloo Schools To Hold Town Hall Meetings on High School Consolidation Plan

Over the next several weeks, before the $165 million referendum in November, Waterloo Community Schools will be holding town hall meetings on the district’s planned single consolidated high school plan.  The first will be next Wednesday at 5PM at the Carver Academy on Logan Avenue in Waterloo. The next one will be September 24th at Bunger Middle School. Other meetings for October will be at the Waterloo Career Center on October 3rd, and Hoover Middle School on October 7th.  School officials say this will allow the public ample opportunity to learn more about the consolidation plan and to ask questions.
