UPDATE: Cedar Falls Man Identified in Fatal UTV Crash

The name of the victims have been released in a fatal UTV crash with another vehicle in Cedar Falls.  The Iowa State Patrol says the crash happened at the intersection of North Union Road and West Cedar Wapsi Road. The driver of the UTV, 56-year old Andrew Clark of Cedar Falls, failed to yield and turned left in front of the car, which was southbound on Union Road. Both vehicles came to rest in the ditch, with the UTV catching on fire.  Clark, a retired Waterloo Police sergeant, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car was identified as 41-year old Karl Tompkins of Ryan. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The investigation continues.
