Closure of Waterloo Grocer Being Referred to Local Auditing Firm

Iowa Auditor Rob Sand said Monday that the closure of All-in Grocers in Waterloo is being referred to Bergan KDV, the city’s auditing firm, after the store closed abruptly last week. The City of Waterloo provided the grocery store developer around $2 million in tax incentives and grants. The store opened last October before it closed September 16th, and is currently in the process of being sold. The owner of the store, Rodney Anderson, has since sold it to a new ownership group, the name of that group has not been made public.
