Waterloo Police continue their investigation of a gunshot wound to a 14-year old in Waterloo Sunday night. Initially, police officers were told that someone in a vehicle drove by past the teen and shot him. A further investigation determined there might have been an accidental shooting at a home on Dawson Street. This occurred around 11PM. The teen was taken to University Hospitals in Iowa City for treatment. The injury was not believed to be life-threatening, according to police.
