ROAD TRIP FOR DISGUSTING FOOD _ If you find yourself in Sweden one day, be sure to stop by the Disgusting Food Museum. It is located in Malmö, Sweden, and features 80 of the world’s most disgusting foods from various cultures. The museum aims to challenge visitors’ notions of what is and what isn’t edible and explore the idea that disgust is a cultural construct. Some examples of foods on display include Surströmming (fermented herring from Sweden), Cuy (roasted guinea pigs from Peru), Casu marzu (maggot-infested cheese from Sardinia), Stinky tofu (pungent bean curd from China), Hákarl (well-aged shark from Iceland), and Durian (infamously stinky fruit from Thailand).
