After missing the Class 1A playoffs, Waterloo Columbus Catholic (1-7) took the opportunity to schedule an additional regular season game and plays at Denver (2-6) tonight. Kickoff is at 6. (*Denver defeated Columbus 21-20 in a game that was canceled in the third quarter due to lightning*)
Week 9 marks the final week of the regular season in Class 5A, 4A and 3A and in the Metro;
Waterloo West (5-3) can clinch a playoff berth at Ottumwa (7-1),
Waterloo East (2-6) hosts 4A, 2nd-ranked Decorah (8-0).
and Cedar Falls (4-4) looks to keep its playoff hopes alive at home against Davenport West (0-8).
