MANY OF US WOULD LIE IF WE COULD GET AWAY WITH IT _ Four in 10 adults admit to being dishonest and would happily lie if they thought they could get away with it. For example, researchers who carried out the study found almost half of us would pocket cash left behind by someone else at an ATM. And another 53 percent admitted they would keep quiet if they were given more change than they were owed in a store. One third even confessed they would keep $300,000 that didn’t belong to them if they knew they could get away with it.
