STANLEY TUMBLERS COST THIS MUCH TO MANUFACTURE _ The limited edition Valentine’s Day Stanley’s Quencher became available at Target on December 31 — MSRP $20 to $45, depending on the size — and was bought up in mere minutes. Now the tumblers are on eBay for $100. But here’s the secret: each Stanley mug only costs like $4 to $6 to make and ship from China. The Stanley tumblers have been outstanding for business, as the company secured $750 million in revenue in 2022, 10 times the revenue the company saw in 2022. The Quencher line, introduced in 2016, only recently went viral. The product boasts features like a handle, the ability to keep drinks hot for five to seven hours and cold for nine to eleven hours, and the fact that it fits inside most car cup holders. Social media played a crucial role in the popularity of Stanley mugs. Influencers and regular users alike began showcasing their collections of Stanley mugs in various colors and designs, which led to a surge in demand. This trend was particularly noticeable on platforms like TikTok.
