I’ve never had a bad hamburger on the grill

BURGER GRILLING TIPS _ It’s grilling season. Have you tried this burger grilling tip? If you want a perfectly juicy burger, put an ice cube in the middle of a patty, folding the meat around it, and then grilling it. That way the ice keeps the patty moist so it doesn’t dry out. A common grilling mistake that leads to dry burgers: biting into your meat right away. If you let the patty sit for five minutes after taking it off the grill, the juices that have pooled in the center of your burger will reabsorb into the rest of the meat.
WORDS YOU SHOULD NEVER MISPRONOUNCE _ Here are the most common words people need to learn how to pronounce.
• Espresso — It’s not pronounced ‘expresso’. There is no express caffeine drink at your local Starbucks. It’s pronounced ‘iss-presso’ or ‘ess-presso’.
• Ask — If you say ‘ax a question’ somebody might think you are trying to murder them. There is an ‘s’ in this word.
• Et cetera — It’s not pronounced ‘ek-set-r-uh’. The ‘t’ comes before the ‘c’ for a reason.
• Asterisk — People get lazy with this one like they do with the word ‘ask’. There is no ‘ick’ on this word, so it’s not ‘asterick’ or ‘astrick’.
• Regardless — People seem to use the word ‘irregardless’. Stop it. Sadly, there are some dictionaries that now list this word, probably because some of the world’s smartest people use it.
• Escape — Another word where people replace the ‘s’ with an ‘x’. It’s not ‘excape’.
• Anyway — Since anyway is an adverb and it is impossible for adverbs to be plural, don’t say anyways.
A GOOD RESPONSE TO “HOW ARE YOU?” WHEN YOU’RE NOT GOOD _ Someone on social media asked, What’s a good response to the question “How are you?” when you’re not good? One commenter suggested this: Don’t answer. Instead, jump right in with a question about them. When you see them and they ask, “How are you?” don’t reply with “good” or “I’m fine” — instead, when they say “How are you?” simply ask a question, such as “I heard you just got back from Europe… tell me about that.” Or “It’s Friday, what are you and the family up to this weekend?”
