DOUBLE DIPPING IS OK — SOMETIMES _ Double dipping, the often frowned upon act of putting your half-eaten chip back into a communal dip, isn’t bad if you have already “saliva-bonded.” A researcher (Massey University) said you “are certainly transferring some bacteria and viruses in your saliva when you double dip. The question then becomes: is this a big deal? Look around the room. If you are exclusive with people you already swap saliva with through kissing, sharing food and drink, pacifier cleaning, etc. (like family and close friends) … this is probably not a big deal.
