Your McGuess is as good as theirs ….

WHEN IS THE McRIB RETURNING TO MCDONALD’s? _ You can be relatively sure that when McDonald’s first introduced the McRib sandwich in 1981, they had no clue what was to come. Because over the years the sandwich has gone from marketing flop to an almost cult-like status among the McDonald’s faithful. The McRib is a seasoned boneless pork patty shaped like a rack of ribs that has been covered in BBQ sauce and topped with onions and dill pickles. All of that goodness is then put on a homestyle bun. What makes the McRib so special is that it is only available for a limited time at the fast food chain. According to Mashed.com, normally the McRib arrives in the fall sometime around late October. However, the last few years have been anything but normal. Last year McDonald’s waited until November 1 to bring the McRib back to celebrate its birthday. In 2020 the sandwich didn’t return until well into December due to pandemic related issues. The two years prior to that however, the fan-favorite returned right on schedule in October.

The smell alone is iconic and mood-boosting. Is there any way to make it more perfect? Apparently yes, and it’s three words: mac and cheese.
