Fans got their first glimpse of metro boys basketball teams last night as the annual ‘Metro Jamboree’ unfolded at Waterloo Columbus Catholic high school.
Teams played two quarters of officiated, exhibition action.
Waterloo East slipped past Denver, 27-24.
Waterloo West outscored Cedar Ridge Christian, 25-16.
Cedar Falls ran past Benton Community, 40-24.
Columbus Catholic defeated Don Bosco, 31-16.
