HOW TO TELL IF ALIENS KIDNAPPED YOU _ A few years back the tabloid National Enquirer had a guide to tell if aliens had kidnapped you.
• Do you wake up paralyzed with a sense of a strange person in the room?
• Do you go through a period in which you apparently lost an hour or more, but couldn’t remember why — or where you had been?
• Do you see unusual lights or balls of light in a room, without knowing what was causing them?
• Do you feel that you had actually been flying through the air, although you couldn’t recall how or why?
• Do you find puzzling scars on your body, but neither you nor anyone else could remember how you got them or where you got them?
… If you answered ‘yes’ to at least three of these questions, there is a 60 percent chance you’ve been abducted.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY COSMIC CRISP _ A new variety of apple hit stores six years ago this week. Cosmic Crisp was the first apple ever bred in Washington state, which grows the majority of the United States’ apples. The apple variety was developed by Washington State University and Washington growers, who paid for the research. The apple is called Cosmic Crisp because of the bright yellowish dots on its skin, which look like distant stars. Cosmic Crisps are a cross between the disease-resistant Enterprise and the popular, crunchy Honeycrisp varieties. The Honeycrisp, nicknamed “Moneycrisp” by some growers, was the last apple to spark a big buzz in the United States when it was introduced a couple of decades ago. It was developed by the University of Minnesota.

WHY IS YOUR PET AN IDIOT? _ What’s the dumb thing your pet does? Here’s what a few people on reddit had to say:
• She’ll go to the back door and ask to be let out, see it’s raining, and change her mind. And then she’ll go to the front door and ask to be let out, see it’s raining, and change her mind. And then she’ll go to the side door…
• She will chase the shadow of a thrown ball rather than the ball itself.
• His own farts confuse him. Often when he’s lying down and starts to let one out, he turns his head around and looks at his backside all puzzled.
• Whenever my cat will chase a spider, and eventually catch it, she lifts up her paw to make sure it is still there, allowing it to escape and hide.
• My chocolate lab is 9 months old and doesn’t know how to drink water properly. Instead of standing and lapping up the water like a normal dog he lays on his side and dunks half his head into his water bowl and gulps it.
