Hot dog! It’s all about love! (and office psychology)

LOVE _ A study (Kinsey Institute) asked over 10,000 single adults in the United States how many times they have been passionately in love in their lifetime. The study confirmed earlier research that love can touch us one time, and last for a lifetime and never let go until we’re gone.
… The average number of passionate loves in respondents’ lives was 2.05 experiences.
… Overall, 28 percent said they had experienced passionate love just once, 30 percent twice, 17 percent three times and 11 percent four or more times.
… On the other hand, 14 percent of respondents said they had never experienced passionate love.

… According to research, of the thousands of people who got engaged across the U.S. on Valentine’s Day, only 54 percent will actually make it to the altar.

HOT DOG NUMBERS _ The numbers are finally in: In 2025 Americans spent more than $11 billion on hot dogs and sausages.
… Los Angeles residents consume more hot dogs than any other city (about 27.8 million pounds), beating out New York and Chicago.
… On Independence Day, Americans enjoyed 150 million hot dogs, enough to stretch from D.C. to L.A. more than five times.
… During peak hot dog season, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, Americans typically consumed 7 billion hot dogs.

WHAT YOUR OFFICE SAYS ABOUT YOU _ Men’s Health says what your office looks like says a lot about you:
• If you have trophies, letters of praise and photos of you with celebs you want to excel.
• If you have pictures, plants and candy in a bowl you’re a big softy.
• If you have neat, 3-foot stacks of files and a do-not-disturb sign you’re overworked, antisocial and disorganized.
• Is your office spotless, with everything in perfect alignment? You’re obsessive compulsive and need more work.
• Is your office full of vinyl records, Rubiks Cubes and toys? You’re outgoing and creative, or you just want to seem that way.
