Rules that were NOT meant to be broken

WHAT IS A RANDOM RULE YOU HAVE FOR YOURSELF THAT YOU NEVER BREAK? What the internet said:
• The 24-hour rule for online shopping. If I see something I want, I put it in the cart and wait a full day. If I still want it tomorrow, I buy it. Usually, I realize I just liked the dopamine hit of clicking add to cart
• I try to take my kids out at least once a day, even if it’s just a walk around the park or something
• Before buying anything that isn’t a necessity, I calculate how many hours of work it takes to pay for it.
• I never leave dirty dishes in the sink overnight
• After a breakup, no dating or relationships for 6 months minimum.
• I share my kids interests. I watch what they want to show me. I listen to what they want to tell me.
20th ANNIVERSARY OF EARTH HOUR COMING MARCH 28 _ This year marks the 20th anniversary of Earth Hour, the global movement that began in 2007 with one city — Sydney — switching off its lights for the planet. Over two decades, that simple act has grown into a worldwide ritual, with homes, landmarks, and businesses going dark for one shared hour. On March 28 from 8:30 to 9:30 PM local time, millions will again power down to shine a spotlight on climate change and nature loss. While turning off the lights for 60 minutes won’t solve the climate crisis alone, it’s a powerful reminder that collective actions, repeated over time, can shift culture and policy. • LINK
