Something only guys can truly appreciate…

MEN SHARE THINGS OTHER MEN DO THAT DRIVES THEM CRAZY _ A reddit user asked men to share what men do that drives them crazy.
• “How guys handle rejection. Lots of women are outright scared to directly turn down a man’s advances because some will harass them or get violent. I think it’s one of the big reasons ghosting has become such a common thing in dating.”
• “When men say they are ‘babysitting’ their own children.”
• “Guys who become completely different when there aren’t women around. A guy I work with is always nice to his female coworkers, but the second they’re gone, [he slams them].”
• “Men who think it’s ‘unmanly’ to drink delicious cocktails. Why is it suddenly ‘unmanly’ to have a sweet tooth when it comes to drinks? I mean, you don’t go to someone’s wedding and then say, ‘Ha! Cake?! No way, I’m a real man.’”
• “Turning insecurity into aggression and hatred for others.”
• “Men who don’t clean their own mess, do their laundry, cook their own food, or act like functional adults, basically.”
• “When they don’t know how to keep a toilet clean.”
• “When men refuse to call out their male friends for their [bad] behavior.”
• “Men not supporting other men emotionally, even when it doesn’t seem like they need it. Every man needs emotional support, especially from other men.”
THE MYTH OF MOMMY BRAIN _ The term “mommy brain” refers to the commonly held belief that mothers are forgetful and inattentive. But is it a real thing? A study by Purdue University researchers challenged this view by demonstrating that mothers are not more forgetful or inattentive than non-mothers, at least for one year after giving birth. In the study, researchers tested reaction times of 60 mothers who had given birth at least one year prior to the experiment. They compared the scores against 70 women without children. The researchers found no difference in reaction times between the two groups, suggesting that mothers and non-mothers have similar attentiveness. Moreover, even though mothers were, on average, 10 years older than non-mothers, they had similar alerting and orienting abilities and better executive control, after the researchers controlled for age.
