Cedar Falls softball falls, 6-4, to Dowling Catholic in 5A Regional Final

Dowling Catholic stormed back to beat the Cedar Falls softball team, 6-4, in a Class 5A Regional Final last night in Des Moines.

Kennedy Buskohl and Amanda Fink each hit first inning home runs, giving the Tigers a 3-0 lead.

Dowling rallied, and with Cedar Falls clinging to a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the 6th, the Maroons struck for three runs and a comeback win.

The Tigers finish their season 23-15.
