2 IN 3 DOG OWNERS COOK SPECIAL MEALS JUST FOR THEIR PUP _ Dogs are treated just like children in many homes, but some folks may be taking their puppy parenting to another level. Six in 10 dog owners admit they care about their pet so much, they consider themselves “helicopter parents.” A survey of 2,000 American dog owners found 91 percent pay close attention to what their dog needs. Another 89 percent worry about their comfort as the seasons change and, in order to protect their pup from harsher weather, dog owners are most likely to buy them a sweater (46%), winter coat (40%), or rain jacket (37%). More than four in five (87%) treat their dog as a valued member of their family and three in four insist their pup knows how spoiled they are. Two in three dog owners have prepared special meals for their pup.

INTERVIEW BOMB STORIES _ People shared their interview bomb stories.
• I was so nervous I accidentally negotiated a lower salary than they offered.
• At my first corporate job interview at 18 I was so nervous. I had sweat all over my face and when the recruiter asked me to “tell me about myself,” I farted. There was brief silence and I walked out the room thanking her for her time. I didn’t know my aunt was friends with her. The family ended up finding out the story and I got roasted for it.
• For my first virtual interview in college I was preparing to do it with Dunkin’ Donuts corporate. When I tested the audio on the software it seemed very soft. I concluded that I should yell my answers. It turns out it was my computer volume. So the hiring team watched 30 minutes of me screaming interview answers. I never heard back from them.
• I accidentally checked the box that said I was a felon on the application. They didn’t notice until I was in the interview.
