WHAT IS THE DUMBEST THING SOMEONE SAID? As always, internet answers do not disappoint!
• A guy where I worked insisted that no one ever needs to change the oil in their car.
• A coworker told them to not give me a raise because “I’d be making less money because of taxes.” I didn’t even try to explain what a progressive tax system is.
• I knew someone who wondered aloud where the moon goes every month. He thought, honestly, that a “new moon” was literally a brand new moon forming every month, and the old one disintegrated or something.
• The girl I was on a date with said, “Owning a horse is cheaper than owning a dog.”
• Someone I was working with on a project said, “Can you email me back the PDF I emailed you? It’s my only copy.”
• A friend swore when you put hard boiled eggs in the fridge they turn back into normal eggs.
