Former Cedar Falls football standout, current Penn State offensive lineman Will Tompkins injured

Will Tompkins, a former All-State offensive lineman at Cedar Falls, is out for the remainder of the season at Penn State.

Thompkins is out with an unspecified injury he suffered during pregame warmups before the Nittany Lions’ game last Saturday against Buffalo.

He was one of four former Iowa State offensive linemen who followed coach Matt Campbell to Penn State. 

Tompkins, a 6-foot-5, 310-pound interior lineman, was a three-star recruit coming out of Cedar Falls.
