SHINE stands for Sharing, Healing, Inspiring, Nurturing and Enduring. Shine is run through Blank’s Children’s Hospital and their staff meets with families throughout the state of Iowa when they have been given a critical diagnosis that is life threatening for an unborn child by helping to educate the family before birth including options to treat and are with the family from birth, in NICU and for years to follow. Support is provided for families also with gas cards, food, books to educate and helping to make memory items for the families.  These families do not pay for any services provided by SHINE, they rely on donors to help pay for these services provided to the families.

Consider donating to this great cause of new or slightly used items. Donations can be dropped off at the club – opens at 3PM M-F and noon on Saturdays.  202 E. 1st St., Waterloo
