An eastern Iowa man serving time for a pair of crimes 6 years ago has fled the Waterloo Residential Correctional Facility and law enforcement is asking for your help in locating him. 26-year old Markez Alexander Fox was placed on escape status last Friday when he failed to return to the facility. Corrections officials say he’s a Black male, stands 5’9″ and weighs 188 pounds. He had been transferred to the facility a week ago. He’s serving time for an armed robbery in Cedar Rapids and an armed robbery in Coralville, both in late 2017.
