The Waterloo Columbus Catholic high school softball team had its season come to an end last night, losing 6-0 at Central Springs in a Class 2A Regional Final.
The game began on Monday night but was halted in the 2nd inning due to the weather and resumed last night at 7.
The Sailors struggled against Panthers pitcher Cooper Klaahsen, who allowed just one hit and struck out 13.
Waterloo Columbus ends its season 26-12 overall.
