Area boys wrestling teams compete at Regional Dual Tournaments tonight

The high school boys wrestling postseason begins tonight with Regional Dual Team Tournaments in all three classes.

The top-24 ranked teams in each class in the Iowa High School Athletic Association’s rankings compete at eight regional duals with the highest-ranked teams hosting.

The top-eight teams in each class qualify to the State Dual Team Tournament, held this Saturday at Xtream Arena in Coralville.

Several area teams will be in action…

In Class 3A,

Waverly-Shell Rock is at Linn-Mar.

In Class 2A,

Union wrestles at Independence.

In Class 1A,

Don Bosco, Nashua-Plainfield and Jesup all host Regional Duals.

Denver competes at Lake Mills,

Wapsie Valley goes to West Hancock

And North Butler-Clarksville competes at Jesup.
