The Metro high school wrestling teams opened their season’s last night at the annual Metro Meet, hosted by Waterloo East this year.
Waterloo East won the dual team event as the Trojans went a perfect 3-0, defeating Waterloo Columbus Catholic, 65-12, Cedar Falls, 44-36, and Waterloo West, 41-31.
Cedar Falls finished 2-1, while Waterloo West went 1-2 and Columbus Catholic finished 0-3.
