The Cedar Falls girls basketball team had its season come to an end today with a 59-48 loss to Dowling Catholic in the Class 5A State Tournament Semifinals.
The Maroons held a slim 24-23 lead at halftime, but then took control of the game in the 3rd quarter, outscoring the Tigers 26-13.
The Tigers shot just 33-percent in the loss and had 11 shots blocked. Grace Knutson led the Tigers with 20 points.
Cedar Falls finishes its season with a record of 23-2.
