The Iowa Woo yesterday announced Mook “Hollywood” Zimmerman as the team’s first ever head coach. Zimmerman has played football in North America, South America and Europe, and has coaching experience in the Arena Pro Football League. Zimmerman says he’s proud to have been named the new head coach.

Most recently, he served as the defensive line and linebackers coach for the Massachusetts Pirates in the Indoor Football League. Second tryouts for the Iowa Woo are scheduled for Saturday and their season premiere game will be at the Hippodrome on May 25th.
