Cedar Falls Council Allocates $3M Toward Future UNI-Dome Renovation

The City of Cedar Falls will be allocating $3 million toward the renovation of the UNI-Dome at the University of Northern Iowa. As part of the Cedar Falls City Council’s approval Monday night of their Fiscal Year 2025 budget, it includes $1.25 million for the project. An additional $1.75 million is expected to be paid in the next two years. The project is part of the University’s “Our Tomorrow” campaign, which is setting out to raise $300 million for the college by 2026. So far, they have amassed over $250 million toward the goal.
