A fire damaged a home in Waterloo early Thursday morning. Waterloo Fire Rescue was called around 2:30 AM to 806 Sheridan Road. The occupants of the home were able to get out safely along with their pets. Fire officials say the fire started in the back porch area where a barbecue grill was kept, however, a cause has not been determined as yet.
