The 6th-ranked Cedar Falls boys defeated rival Waterloo East, 86-38, improving the Tigers to 5-1 overall and dropping the Trojans record to 4-4. The Tigers’ William Gerdes led all scorers with a game-high 14 points.
The 9th-ranked Cedar Falls girls won at Waterloo East last night, 85-47, improving the Tigers record to 9-1 and dropping the Trojans to 3-6 overall.
The Waterloo Christian boys won at GMG, 88-58.

Cedar Falls defeated Waterloo West, 138-32, in a double dual at Iowa City High.
