The Iowa Shrine Bowl has released its 2024 roster and 10 area players were named.
The Iowa Shrine Bowl is an annual football game played each July featuring 92 of the best players in the state. To date, the Iowa Shrine Bowl has raised nearly three million-dollars for Shriners’ Children.
Area players on the North Team include: Drew Gerdes of Cedar Falls, Ahdan Mohammed of Waterloo East, Mason Knipp from Waterloo Columbus, Colin Gordon and Trent Cakerice from Grundy Center, Don Bosco’s Kaiden Knaack, Andrew Mohan of Waverly-Shell Rock, Logan Beatty of Denver, Sumner-Fredericksburg’s Jaxon Willems and Brady McDonald of Independence.
The 52nd Iowa Shrine Bowl kicks off Saturday, July 20th at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.
