A fire heavily damaged a mobile home early Thursday afternoon in Cedar Falls. Firefighters and public safety officers reported to the fire at 700 W. Ridgeway Ave, unit 642, around 12:25 PM to find smoke and flames coming from near their clothes dryer. The fire was quickly put out and all persons and pets made it out of the home safely. There were no injuries. Cause of the fire is still under investigation.
