A two vehicle crash in northwest Cedar Falls Saturday morning injured six people, including two children. Cedar Falls Public Safety says the crash happened at the intersection of Hwy 57 and Union Road just before noon. An eastbound vehicle crashed into a southbound vehicle. The impact knocked both vehicles off the roadway. First responders at the scene had to use specialized tools to extract people from both vehicles. An adult and two children were in one vehicle and three adults in the other. They were taken to area hospitals either by ambulance or private vehicle. No names or conditions have been released in relation to this crash.
