It’s day two of the 2024 high school State Wrestling Tournament in Des Moines. Quarterfinal and consolation matches take place today in all three classes.
Here are team leaders after day one…
In Class 1A,
Wilton is on top with 39-1/2 points. Don Bosco is in third-place with 27-1/2 and Jesup is fourth with 22.
In Class 2A,
Burlington Notre Dame leads with 36-1/2 points. Union-LaPorte City is in sixth-place with 24.
And in Class 3A,
Southeast Polk is in first-place with 58 points. Defending state champion Waverly-Shell Rock is in 11th-place with 31.
